52 Mondays, Zero Excuses: The Simple System That Made Me a Consistent Writer (And How You Can Do It Too)

I’m sitting here writing this article to finish it in one hour because, well, deadlines work for me. But as I type these words, something feels surreal. It’s been 52 Mondays since I started this Substack—52 weeks of showing up, no matter what. Some days were fueled by inspiration; others felt like dragging myself through quicksand. Yet, somehow, I made it happen.
Am I the most consistent person I know, hell no! But how did I manage to pull this off? Am I the most disciplined person on Earth? NOPE. If you knew my personality profile, you’d understand why this streak is both shocking and miraculous.
For those of you who are long-term subscribers you know an article I put out last November which many of you quite enjoyed.

For those of you who follow me on my Instagram know that I have restarted running and currently on a 5 week streak every Monday. While I know that I have restarted it for the 100th time!
Contrary to what many of you guessed my personality profile was that of an obliger!! During the time I was writing this article, I was on my longest-running streak and I had written about how other famous obligers dealt with their relationship with consistency by using this personality profile to work for you rather than against you.

But newsflash my running streak has once again shattered like a fragile heirloom porcelain from your grandma’s cupboard. But how on earth have I managed to maintain my writing streak for more than a year? It’s time I share with you my distilled discovery because if I can crack it so can you!
And trust me when I say this, it isn’t your regular motivation shitstorm that is all around these days. This is a personal account, with proof and a 3 step blueprint of how I hacked into my headspace which is generally quite affected by my external and internal weather. And it makes the relationship with consistency very strained. Whether you’re building a creative project, solving problems at work, or just craving clarity in your daily life this is it!
